Ishona Langa Wildlife Sanctuary was established as a place where wild animals that have been traumatised could find refuge after they have been rehabilitated. The primate rehabilitation programme is an important facet of Ishona Langa's programme.
Ishona Langa is a non-profit undertaking that is sustained by the conference facilities that it offers. Income from the hiring of the venue is used to sustain the sanctuary.

Giraffe, wildebeest, zebra are just some of the wild animals that roam freely in the sanctuary and which visitors can see when they take an educational game drive through the sanctuary.

The bird hides offer visitors a chance to glimpse some of the 256 bird species that make Ishona Langa their home. Short walks for birding ars also possible through the acacia thornveld.
